"Los Ladrones De Tumbas" @ladronesdetumbastx I stumbled upon this page as it was being shared. They were creating and selling custom made resin coasters/trays. Looking through their page and seeing they are also fans of horror. Makes sense with they name that they go by and what they call themselves. Well one of this week's feature is @ladronesdetumbastx
Telling us about themselves they are Mandie and Davey and they tell us what what they've been enjoying most recently "Crested Sunday Sleaze Sundays at Hop Shop where we can watch movies we enjoy w other people." If you are interested be sure to check out their page. There was a flyer to the most recent event. They go on to share their favorite local artist/business being " Ruido y Desmadre business and Take Help artist" and I'll be sure to check these out!
With the numerous crafts that they create especially in the horror themed items/sets what got them to make items "Wanted more horror/spanish tejano items in my life." There's always enough room for horror items and especially "spanish tejano."
Reading their bio they also involve t-shirts, DVDs, and much much, but where can we find these items "Most used shirts we have are horror but also black metal, punk, d beat music. We usually take all those items to markets we attend. The resin horror pieces you can find on our facebook or ig. Dvds/blurays/vhs are also only at the markets." Be sure not to miss out on the items not shown on social media by attending an event if you are interested. You never know what you might just find!
With horror being the topic is that also the main focus of the shop?
"We enjoy the horror genre very much. It was definitely our main focus but since not everyone is into horror, we decided to do a little of every 956 vibes." That is very understandable. Keeping yourself diverse by having a bit of different tastes is good. I know not everyone is into horror or horror related things, but I feel like valley horror truly is something else. We just can't escape it without someone sharing a story. That can be a bit of the "956 vibes" when it comes to horror as well. Overall they are providing a bit of everything for everyone.
From custom resin trays to coasters what comes next? "We are now doin custom tote bags as well." Well tote bags are very nice and very essential when it comes to pop ups and markets. How else are going to hold our horror related items.
How would they like to grow with their work/shop? "We just want to get our name out there more in any way possible. With every piece, we get better and it's an amazing feeling to get custom requests." From my experience with their custom resin tray it is really well made! You can check out their trays on their page, to key-chains, and coasters as well.
Having made so many crafts which one has to be their favorite? "Love making those home essential wall hangers w a horror twist." Usually when I think of wall hangers I just think of the hooks you glue on the wall, but they certainly do have a twist.
Being a fairly new page would they be interested in collaborating with others? " We would love to collaborate with another artist for sure." I can imagine shop based coasters/trays or just logo based items or working with designers in the valley and some of these items up for pre-order would be so cool!
They share their thoughts on the local scene in the valley,
"It's definitely growing and we are amazed with everyones unique talents. We need more of this in the 956 community."
They share on final thought as well,
"We appreciate all the business we have had this far and appreciate all the shares, comments and custom requests. Keep your eyes out for more Honey and Vinegar Prods. PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKETs in a area near you. If you like gore, cheesy, b-movies, So bad it's good movies come check out our Sunday Sleaze Cinema, once a month at the Hop Shop."
